NUF - Natursport Uni Freiburg

NUF is a club for outdoor sports-enthusiasts! No matter if we are skiing wide powder slopes or mountain biking in the autumnal Black Forest, we always have some things in common: The pure enjoyment of the sport. The astonishment about the amazing nature we are exploring. And the fact that we are sharing this experience with others who have just the same spirit!

Freiburg, the Black Forest and the close-by Alps offer unique possibilities for all sorts of outdoor-sports. NUF serves as a platform for everyone: Courses and trips in many outdoor sports disciplines on all levels are provided for beginners and intermediates. Those with solid experience in an outdoor sport discipline who bring along a lot of idealism may start their career as a NUF-guide. And for anyone just looking for a partner to go out with and do their favourite sport NUF offers a great community.

NUF trips often take place in the Alps, but it is not always necessary to travel that far: The Black Forest is a huge year-round playground for all sorts of outdoor activities. We have this paradise practically at our doorstep!

When moving in nature we always leave marks. It is our utmost concern to minimize our impact and to preserve nature as it is. We are responsible to make sure future outdoor-enthusiasts can enjoy nature the same way we can do now. NUF stands for freedom and fun, but with responsibility for nature.
